Josh's poems
Fist Full of Steel

That which was mine, is no longer mine
Stolen, like one’s innocence
The glue that held me together…
The stitches over the wound…
Gone.

All that I have or ever had, is gone
Some tangible, other’s intangible
But, none the less, gone.

How do I go on?
Can I go on?
My crutches have been swiped…
And I’ve got two broken legs.

God damn the agony!

THE SEARCH

Wandering alone down countless roads
Walking aimlessly to an unknown destination
My hat turned backwards, my bag slung over my shoulder
Looking…
But for what?
Hell, I don’t really know.
The wandering continues,
The search goes on
And the destination is unknown.

Opinion, Fact, Truth
(The sequel to "One Mans Opinion")

You still live in fear of a weak man
But, you’re not blind to his ways
I know it and you’ve admitted it.
But, still yet, you stay with him
Why are you so damn stupid?
You push away the good and draw in the bad
Do you like the misery? Do you like the pain?
You’re better than what you’ve got
But, you’ve got to want it
Apparently you don’t.
Why?
